The Cisco GLC-TE is a 1000BASE-T Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) copper transceiver designed to provide reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over standard Category 5e or Category 6 twisted-pair copper cabling. Ideal for enterprise networks, campus environments, branch offices, and data centers, this compact hot-swappable module enables seamless integration of RJ-45 copper Ethernet connections into Cisco switches and routers equipped with SFP ports.
