Product Description

The CABCOMM CH005 Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure is a robust and reliable fiber management solution designed for optical fiber splicing, distribution, protection, and storage in telecommunications, FTTH, FTTx, and broadband network applications. Constructed from high-quality ABS engineering plastic, the closure provides excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, and long-term durability in demanding outdoor environments.

Featuring a horizontal enclosure design, the CH005 supports both single-layer and double-layer fiber splice configurations, accommodating up to 144 fiber splices. The closure is equipped with 4 cable entry ports (2 in, 2 out) suitable for cable diameters ranging from Ø7–Ø18mm, offering flexible cable routing and network expansion capabilities.

The advanced mechanical sealing system, combined with silicone rubber sealing material, provides excellent protection against water, dust, moisture, and environmental contaminants. Its reusable sealing design allows the closure to be reopened and resealed multiple times without replacing the sealing components, simplifying maintenance and future network upgrades.
