Product Description

The CABCOMM OTB-S48 Fiber Optic Terminal Box is a high-capacity fiber distribution enclosure designed for FTTH, FTTB, and FTTx network deployments. It serves as a termination point between feeder cables and drop cables while providing fiber splicing, distribution, storage, and protection within a single compact enclosure.

Manufactured from durable ABS plastic, the OTB-S48 features an IP65-rated weatherproof design, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. The enclosure supports fiber management, cable routing, and splice protection while maintaining proper bend radius for optimal network performance.

The distribution panel can accommodate up to 48 fiber cores and supports multiple adapter configurations including SC simplex, LC duplex, FC simplex, and ST simplex adapters. It can also house a 1:32 PLC splitter beneath the splice tray, making it ideal for FTTH distribution networks.

Designed for wall-mount and pole-mount installations, the OTB-S48 offers easy maintenance through its flip-up distribution panel and organized cable management structure. Separate routing paths for feeder cables, drop cables, pigtails, and patch cords ensure efficient installation and simplified network management.
