Product Description

The Hanwha Vision V100 Expansion Reader Module expands access control systems by adding reader capacity to the V1000 centralized controller. The module supports up to two reader interfaces, allowing the system to manage access across up to two doors. It connects to the V1000 through RS-485 communication and works as part of the Wisenet Access Control System.

The V100 supports Wiegand and Clock & Data reader interfaces, giving installers flexibility when integrating compatible access control readers. The module also provides four input ports and four output ports, enabling connections to door position sensors, request-to-exit devices, alarms, locks, and other access control equipment.

The V100 receives commands from the V1000 and communicates access events and system activity back to the centralized controller. This architecture helps organizations expand their access control infrastructure while maintaining centralized management. The module supports offline operation, allowing connected access points to continue functioning when communication with the host is temporarily unavailable.

Its compact UL94 polycarbonate enclosure supports practical installation, while the module operates from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). The V100 also supports reader cable distances of up to approximately 150 m, depending on cable specifications and installation conditions.
