Product Description

The MERCUSYS MS118CP is a high-performance 16-Port PoE+ rackmount switch designed for small and medium-sized business networks, IP surveillance systems, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices. Featuring 16 Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports, 2 Gigabit RJ45 uplink ports, and 2 Combo Gigabit SFP slots, the MS118CP provides flexible connectivity and reliable high-speed uplinks for expanding your network infrastructure. With a total PoE power budget of 190W and up to 30W per PoE port, it can efficiently power multiple compatible devices without requiring separate power supplies.

The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, making it compatible with a wide range of IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP equipment. Its Extend Mode enables data and power transmission up to 250 meters, making it ideal for long-distance surveillance deployments. Priority Mode ensures that critical devices connected to Ports 1–8 receive higher network priority, while Isolation Mode separates client traffic to improve network security and reduce broadcast traffic. Additionally, PoE Auto Recovery automatically detects and reboots unresponsive PoE-powered devices, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
