The CABCOMM Fiber Optic Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is a compact, portable, and highly effective fiber testing tool designed for locating faults, identifying fiber routes, and verifying optical continuity in fiber optic networks. Utilizing a 650nm visible red laser source, the VFL emits a bright red light that can easily detect fiber breaks, bends, cracks, poor splices, and faulty connectors in both single-mode and multimode fiber cables.

Designed in a convenient pen-style format, the device is lightweight and easy to carry, making it ideal for field technicians, installers, and network maintenance personnel. The VFL can identify fiber faults over distances of up to 30 km depending on fiber type and testing conditions. It is widely used during fiber installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and patch panel identification.

The universal 2.5mm adapter supports common fiber connectors such as FC, SC, and ST, while optional output power levels provide flexibility for different testing requirements.
