The Juniper Networks EX-SFP-10GE-SR is a high-performance Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (SFP+) optical transceiver designed to provide fast, reliable, and efficient short-range fiber connectivity for enterprise, campus, and data centers. Built to support the 10GBASE-SR standard, this optical module enables high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber (MMF), making it an ideal solution for switch-to-switch links, server connectivity, storage area networks (SANs), and high-bandwidth network backbones. It uses an 850 nm VCSEL laser, a duplex LC connector, and supports distances of up to 300 meters on OM3 multimode fiber and 400 meters on OM4 multimode fiber.

The EX-SFP-10GE-SR features a compact hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor, allowing network administrators to install or replace the module without shutting down the host device. This minimizes network downtime and simplifies maintenance and upgrades in mission-critical environments.
