Product Description

The TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor is an AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Access Point designed to deliver reliable, high-performance Wi-Fi coverage in both indoor and outdoor environments. As part of the TP-Link Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, it supports centralized cloud management, intelligent monitoring, and seamless integration with Omada gateways, switches, and controllers, making it ideal for campuses, hotels, warehouses, parks, schools, and enterprise outdoor deployments.

Powered by IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, the EAP225-Outdoor provides combined wireless speeds of up to 1,167 Mbps, delivering 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. It incorporates 2×2 MU-MIMO, Beamforming, Band Steering, Airtime Fairness, and Load Balancing to maximize network efficiency and provide stable connections for multiple users simultaneously. With dedicated high-power amplifiers and detachable high-gain omni-directional antennas, it delivers extended wireless coverage for demanding outdoor environments.

The access point features an IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure for protection against dust and water, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. It includes a Gigabit Ethernet port supporting both IEEE 802.3af/at PoE and 24V Passive PoE, enabling flexible installation with a single Ethernet cable for power and data. Additional enterprise features such as Omada Mesh, Seamless Roaming (802.11k/v/r), Captive Portal, WPA3 security, VLAN support, and Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) provide secure, scalable, and easy-to-manage wireless networking.
